I’m Vanesa Allende, a photographer in PDC, Mexico, with over 7 years of experience creating meaningful images for couples, families, proposal, pregnant mothers, solo travelers, and entrepreneurs from around the world. As a local photographer, I specialize in natural sessions that take place in beautiful settings, from golden beaches and tropical streets to private homes and brand spaces.
I´m from Argentina, i arrived in Mexico 10 years ago with the hope of living near the sea. I am living my dream every day, I feel proud to live and work in paradise.

That's how it all started...
I decided to board a plane with no family, no home, and no job—only to end up finding my place in paradise.
I arrived in Playa del Carmen fueled by the dream of transforming my life, seeking a fresh professional start in a vibrant coastal town. Within just nine months of working in the hospitality industry, I successfully secured my work visa and residency, marking the official beginning of my journey in the Mexican Caribbean.
Those early years were transformative, not only for my career but also for my communication skills. Immersed in an international environment for over four years, I mastered the English language by connecting with guests from all over the world, building the cultural fluency that defines my professional approach today.
Tired of the corporate grind, I stepped into the world of entrepreneurship with a heart full of fears.
After years of dedicated service in the hotel industry, I felt a powerful call to return to my roots in Marketing. I took a leap of faith and left my position as a concierge in Tulum to pursue independence, right as the global landscape began to shift. This pivotal moment challenged me to adapt and innovate in an unpredictable market.
I began my freelance journey by teaching Spanish online while gradually rebuilding my digital marketing portfolio. My breakthrough came through creating content for local boutique brands, eventually leading me to manage the personal brand of an American entrepreneur. This experience solidified my transition from hospitality to becoming a specialized marketing strategist.
Since 2020 im doing photos on de Mayan Riviera in Mexico. This year i create my business: Photo Playa
After several successful years dedicated to remote marketing and managing my primary client from the United States right here in Playa del Carmen, our professional journey came to an unexpected end. However, as a parting gesture of gratitude, my client gifted me a professional Canon camera—a moment that would completely redefine my career and my life.
Today, with seven years of experience in the region, I provide more than just images four locals and tourist; By combining my expertise in digital strategy, and professional photography, I alse help entrepreneurs in Playa del Carmen stand out in a crowded digital landscape through authentic and powerful imagery.
