Local videographer with 8 years of experience capturing weddings and couples. He transforms your moments into high-end audiovisual stories.
He moved from Mexico City to Playa del Carmen while he was studying Industrial Design. Moving here completely changed his pace of life and gave him the chance to explore photography, something that had always been close to him because his dad is a photographer.
He started going with him to events as his assistant, and eventually became a second shooter at weddings.
He had worked with couples from all over the world, including the United States, England, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, India, South Korea, Vietnam, Canada, and many other countries. Every wedding brings different traditions, personalities, and ways of celebrating love, which has taught him to adapt naturally while always staying focused on what matters most, telling each couple’s story in an authentic and personal way.
That's how it all started...
“A photograph can preserve a beautiful instant, but film lets you relive an entire moment.”
Not long after, he realized that as much as he loved photography, video resonated with him on a much deeper level.
A photograph can preserve a beautiful instant, but film lets you relive an entire moment. It captures the laughter, the voices, the movement, the atmosphere, the music, and all the emotions that make a wedding unforgettable.
That realization changed everything for him. He immersed himself in filmmaking, studying every stage of the process, from production and cinematography to editing and post production.
Even today, he is constantly learning, refining his craft, and searching for new ways to tell stories in a more meaningful and cinematic way.
He inspired by the cinematography of Roger Deakins, whose work has taught me that every frame should have intention.
Cinema has always been his biggest source of inspiration. He admires filmmakers like Denis Villeneuve, Christopher Nolan, and Terrence Malick for the way they use imagery, light, sound, and pacing to tell stories that feel immersive and emotionally honest.
He’s also deeply inspired by the cinematography of Roger Deakins, whose work has taught him that every frame should have intention.
Beyond film, he finds inspiration in everyday life. Traveling, discovering new places, listening to people’s stories, and observing genuine human connections constantly remind him that the most meaningful moments are often the simplest ones.
That’s exactly what he tries to bring into every wedding film, creating something that feels honest, timeless, and emotionally real.
He had invested countless hours in specialized books, online courses, workshops, and training programs throughout every stage of his career.
His educational journey has always been driven by curiosity and the desire to keep improving. He earned a Master’s Degree in Audiovisual Editing and Post-Production at The Core School in Madrid, part of Grupo Planeta, where he deepened his understanding of storytelling, editing, color, sound, and the technical aspects of filmmaking.
Beyond formal education, he had invested countless hours in specialized books, online courses, workshops, and training programs throughout every stage of his career. He genuinely believes that learning never stops, especially in an industry that evolves as quickly as filmmaking.
Over the past eight years, he has had the privilege of documenting around 280 weddings in Riviera Maya, averaging about 35 weddings each year.
Working with destination weddings has also given him the opportunity to collaborate with incredible planners and vendors, understand different cultures, and create films that feel just as meaningful years later as they did on the wedding day.
